The two clubs for fathers and sons at Chestnut Hill Center have met a few times since the initial hike everyone made to Noanet Woods in September. In November, the day started with two talks: Joe St. Thomas talked to the boys and dads in Frontiers (grades 2 through 4) on the Value of Hard Work and Paul Reilly talked to the boys and dads in Horizons (grades 5 through 7) on Good Use of Time. Then each Club went outside for games. Horizons played a version of Capture the Flag, led by Joe Schirripa. Joe St. Thomas engaged Frontiers in a fast-paced game of dodgeball.
Up next: the Winter Weekends at Wynnview in Vermont in January and February.
