The Launch Program
Monday July 5th, 2021 - Friday July 9th, 2021
A five-day leadership program designed to help launch students into high school.
On the first day, after visiting Lexington and Concord, we will drive up to the Wynnview farm in Randolf, VT. The rest of the week we will remain there, except for our mountain hike on Friday.
Our goal for this trip is to help the boys envision the virtues needed to be a leader. This will be done through classes, sports, and mentoring. The organization classes help students realize how their plans and actions in the first year of high school are a great time to practice leadership qualities. Each participant will also have an opportunity to grow closer to God through daily Mass, meditation, and rosary.
This program takes the place of the CIT trip, with additional content added to help prepare students for high school. The two new aspects of the program are: a discussion on the play A Man for All Seasons, about the life of Thomas More, and a daily debate on some topic of interest. Brendan and Patrick McDonald, competitive national high school debate contestants, will lead the debates.
Who is eligible for this trip?
High school boys entering grade 9 in the Fall of 2021 are eligible to apply for the program.

We will also have three counselors coming along for the trip. Each of them is a high school student who has previous experience as a counselor.
What are the logistics of the program?
The trip will depart from Chestnut Hill at 8:30 AM on Monday, July 5th, 2021. It will return to Chestnut Hill by 6pm on Friday, July 9th. The cost of the Program this year is $450. Scholarships are available upon request.
When will registration be available?
Registration will be made available on this website by Wednesday, April 21st.
